Music Apps Factory / Est. for players
Two apps, both live

Apps for music, made by musicians.

The practice tools we wish we'd had — built by someone who plays and someone who builds.

The apps
§ The apps

Two apps, both live. They start in the same place: the harmonica in hand before the code.

No. 01  /  iOS

Chromatic Harmonica

Chromatic Harmonica app icon

For people studying the chromatic harmonica. A place to sit down and practice again, at the slow pace the instrument really takes.

No. 02  /  iOS

Harmonica Study

Harmonica Study app icon

For people studying the diatonic harmonica. Tools for the everyday work, the part no one sees, the repetition that makes a note come out clean.

Who makes this

From the ear to the app.

There are two of us: a designer and a developer. We both play. That changes how the app gets made, because the musical problem and the software that solves it happen at the same table, in the same conversation.

We ship, we listen to people who play, and we let that conversation reshape the app. The products are still changing, and there are things we're figuring out right now. That's the method, not a detail we haven't gotten to yet.

The best part of making apps for players is hearing back. If you use one of the apps, or have something to say about them, write here. The people reading are the people building.
